Our Mission: To engage communities in creating a new narrative for aging
Our Vision: Older adults love their lives and are valued, empowered, and engaged ‘til the end. Older age is seen by people of all generations as a celebration of cumulative wisdom, life experiences, and the freedom to go for it.
Our Why: We founded Love Of Aging because…
- We are actually loving aging, and although it's not the prevalent narrative, we have found that we are not alone in this.
- Our purpose in life is to make a difference. Given we are discovering about our own aging, why not use our lives as laboratories and engage our communities in the inquiry?
- We know that attitude has a huge influence on every aspect of aging–from health to happiness. We worked in the attitude business for a combined total of 90+ years. So it is from this distinct and potent perspective that we approach the world of aging.
- When we look out at the wide cross-section of people in our lives, we see that our network has a lot to share.
Together we can shift the narrative and bring love to aging.
